For those wondering -

Operation Encompass is a safeguarding partnership between the police and education settings that ensure which allows for schools to be notified before 9:00 AM the next school day if the police have attended a domestic abuse incident at a child's home. This early intervention allows schools to provide immediate, tailored support to children affected by trauma.

This also applies to Early Year Childcare Settings as well as schools.

Our management team at Banana Moon Bishops stortford have received the relevant training to allow us an act quickly! Early intervention is key for safeguarding situations.
